General description

Transparent, streptavidin-coated microplates with high binding capacity:
  • Blocked volume: >300 μl
  • SA-coated area: 300 μl
  • Well geometry: C
Total biotin binding capacity: ≥20ng/well, ≥80pmol/well (competition assays; 300μL wells)
Total binding capacity: 1.5μg/well (biotin-labeled antibodies)

Application

StreptaWell can be used for colorimetric and fluorescent protein immunoassays.

Features and Benefits

The unique coating process ensures homogenous and reproducible coatings with unique features:
  • Little variances between individual wells (intra-assay variance)
  • Little variances between different plates (inter-assay variance)
  • High lot-to-lot reproducibility
  • High signal-to-noise ratio
  • Low background
  • Almost no leaching

Quality

SA leaching (bleeding): <5ng/well

A rapid and quantitative DNA-binding assay was developed based on the translational fusion of a DNA-binding protein (DBP) with a Neocallimastix patriciarum beta-1,4-D-glucanase, CelD.
