Gene Information

human ... DBH(1621)

Specificity

Dopamine Beta Hydroxylase (DbetaH) C-terminal. By immunoblot the antibody specifically reacts with a single (or double) band(s) of M.W. »70-75,000 in samples of SDS-solubilized, DTT-reduced human adrenal medulla subjected to SDS-PAGE.

Immunogen

Epitope: C-terminus
Synthetic peptide, CPTSQGRSPAGPTVVSI-amide, cloned from human (DbH) cDNA (Nagatsu et al. 1990).

Application

Anti-Dopamine β Hydroxylase Antibody, C-terminus is an antibody against Dopamine β Hydroxylase for use in IH & WB.
Immunoblotting: 1:250-1:1,000.

Immunohistochemistry: 1:250-1:1,000, staining was evaluated in the locus coeruleus of formaldehyde-fixed, cryopreserved human and monkey brain. Showed moderate staining on both human and monkey.

Optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user.
