Sodium hydrogen sulfate, also known as sodium bisulfate, is commonly used as a pH modifier, acidulant, and chemical reagent in various industrial and laboratory applications.
Application
Sodium hydrogen sulfate can be used as:
- A source of sulfur in the synthesis of the Ni-doped Cu2ZnSnS4 (CZTS) material, which find its application in solar energy conversion technologies.
- As a pH regulator to maintain acidic conditions in various processes.
- A acidic catalyst to facilitate the esterification process between oleyl alcohol and oleic acid.
