General description

Sodium chloride is a white crystalline solid highly soluble in water. High-purity sodium chloride is commonly used in the pharmaceutical and semiconductor industry.

Application

Facilitates the cross-coupling of organostannanes with iodides without using palladium.
Sodium chloride can be used:
  • As an aqueous electrolyte in batteries.
  • To detect trace elements using inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry.
