General description

ORBO solvent desorption tubes are packed in glass with sealed ends. It is mostly dual-layered and containing one larger bed of adsorbent followed by a smaller back-up bed to capture any sample breakthrough. The beds contain separators typically of glass wool or foam to secure the beds in place.

Application

ORBO 32 small activated coconut charcoal (20/40), 100/50 mg has been used for sampling in the analysis of BTEX in air samples using gas chromatography (GC) with optical fiber detection.
