Solute carrier family 9 (sodium/hydrogen exchanger), member 9 (SLC9A9, NHE9, Nbla00118) is a member of the sodium/hydrogen exchanger family is a membrane protein that regulates the luminal pH of the recycling endosome, an essential organelle for synaptic transmission and plasticity. Disruption of SLC9A9 may contribute to the attention deficit hyperactivity disorder-like phenotype.

Application
