General description

El inhibidor ROCK (Y-27632) es un inhibidor competitivo del ATP selectivo de la proteína cinasa asociada a Rho (ROCK) que incluye p160Rock (Ki=140 nM) y Rock-II También actúa como un potente inhibidor de la sensibilización al Ca2+ inducida por agonista de la fosforilación de miosina y la contracción del músculo liso. El tratamiento de una hora con Y-27632 10uM bloquea la apoptosis de las células madre embrionarias humanas (hESCs) cultivadas disociadas, aumenta la supervivencia y la eficacia de clonación de las hESCs sin afectar a su pluripotencia1. Recientemente algunos informes demostraron que la aplicación de Y-27632 y Accutase (Nº de ref. SCR005), una mezcla formulada de enzimas digestivas, mejora la tasa de supervivencia pos-descongelamiento de las hESC individuales utilizando métodos convencionales de congelación lenta y descongelación rápida
