General description

Normal carrier sera, produced from pooled lots of sera from healthy, non-immunized donkeys.
Normal donkey serum is a common blocking agent used to reduce background staining by preventing non-specific binding of antibodies to tissue or fragment crystallizable (FC) receptors.

Application

Normal Donkey Serum, Sterile has been used to reduce artificial staining of non-specific proteins during double-immunofluorescent labeling. It is also suitable for use in radioimmunoassay.
