Application
- Clinoptilolite supplementation study: Pavelić et al. conducted a clinical evaluation on the effects of clinoptilolite supplementation on selected blood parameters, utilizing trace metal standards including copper. This research contributes to understanding the biocompatibility and safety of mineral supplements in medical treatments (Pavelić et al., 2022).
- [(64)Cu][Cu(ATSM)] for PET imaging: Liu et al. developed an automated production process for [(64)Cu][Cu(ATSM)], employed in positron emission tomography imaging. This advancement illustrates the role of high-purity copper standards in radioactive diagnostic applications (Liu et al., 2022).
- Environmental mobility of copper: Marzouk et al. assessed the lability and environmental mobility of organically bound copper using stable isotope dilution, relevant for environmental science and pharmaceutical trace metal analysis (Marzouk et al., 2022).
