We are committed to bringing you Greener Alternative Products, which adhere to one or more of The 12 Principles of Greener Chemistry. This product has been enhanced for energy efficiency. Click here for more details.
Yttrium oxide, europium doped (Y2O3/Eu) is a luminescent material with high chemical stability and good resistance to corrosion. It is considered one of the best red oxide phosphors under the excitation wavelength (λ) of ~254 nm with a high melting point and high thermal conductivity. It can be synthesized by a variety of techniques such as sol-gel, solid-state reaction, hydrothermal synthesis, and wet chemical synthesis.

Application

Y2O3/Eu can be used for a variety of sustainable applications such as dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs), luminescent sensors, and light-emitting displays (LEDs).
