General description

Capillary GC column is also known as open tubular column. The carrier gas flows through the central aperture and is unrestricted throughout the length of the column.
Application: This column is specially tested with low concentrations of 18 chlorinated pesticides, using an ECD detector. In addition to selectivity and efficiency, it is also tested to ensure minimum breakdown of 4,4′-DDT and endrin. This column is also suitable for use in herbicide analyses.

Application

SPB-608 Capillary Column was used in gas chromatography with electron capture detector (GC-ECD), which was used for the determination of methylmercury in sediment after alkaline digestion.
