General description

Heart Infusion containing infusion from the porcine/bovine heart is used for the isolation and cultivation of a wide variety of fastidious organisms. The fastidious organisms having challenging nutritional requirements could be cultivated by using heart infusion powder. Heart extract has been widely used as an alternative to meat extract (bovine) where very special nutrient requirements are needed. It is obtained from the porcine cardiac muscle of healthy animals. Heart Infusion powder is recommended to be used as the base in carbohydrate fermentation tests.

Application

Heart Infusion powder from porcine/bovine is used for general laboratory purposes for the cultivation of fastidious organisms from various test samples.
