Gene Information

human ... SARM1(23098)

General description

Sterile alpha and Armadillo repeat protein (SARM), also known as Sterile alpha and TIR motif-containing protein 1 (SARM1) and Sterile alpha motif domain-containing protein 2 (SAMD2), is involved in the innate immnune response. SARM blocks TICAM1/TRIF-dependent transcription-factor activation and gene induction, without affecting the MYD88-dependent pathway or non-TLR signaling. SARM is expressed kidney and liver with lower levels found in placenta.

Specificity

This antibody recognizes the C-terminus of SARM.

Immunogen

Epitope: C-terminus
KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to the C-terminus of human SARM.

Application

Detect Sterile alpha & Armadillo repeat protein using this rabbit polyclonal antibody, Anti-SARM Antibody validated for use in western blotting, ICC & Immunofluorescence.
Immunocytochemistry Analysis: 2 µg/mL from a representative lot detected SARM in Daudi cells.
