General description
This Spectroquant® pH Cell Test allows the accurate determination of the pH value of aqueous samples in the range between pH 6.4 and 8.8.
Method applied: A non-chlorine-sensitive phenol red indicator solution changes color from yellow to red-violet depending on the pH. The resultant color is evaluated photometrically.
The Spectroquant® Cell Tests come with prefilled 16 mm round cells and all the required reagents to perform the analysis according to the instruction leaflet provided.
All Spectroquant® Cell and Reagent Test Kits are equipped with the unique Live ID (2D barcode) which allows seamless method recognition and contains essential information such as lot number, expiry date, and automatic calibration updates.
Application
- Comprehensive studies on the biological activities of human metastatic (MDA-MB-231) and non-metastatic (MCF-7) breast cancer cell lines, directly or combinedly treated using non-thermal plasma-based approaches.: Focuses on the impact of pH variations in cell testing environments on cancer cell behaviors, crucial for therapeutic assessments (Terefinko et al., 2024).
- Boltzmann Model Predicts Glycan Structures from Lectin Binding.: Involves pH cell tests to validate model predictions in biochemical assays, important for understanding cell-surface interactions (Yom et al., 2024).
