General description
Total Lipid Extract is a chloroform:methanol extract of the respective tissue (Brain, Soybean, Heart, etc.). This extract is partitioned against deionized water, and the chloroform phase is concentrated.
Application
Brain extract total has been used for the preparation of liposomes. It has also been used as a component of lipid cocktail for lipid cosedimentation assay.
