Fluorescein is a xanthene dye and is a common labeling agent in biology.[1]
애플리케이션
Fluorescein sodium salt has been used as a solute to study microvessel permeability.[2][3] It has been used as a test molecule to study blood barrier penetration.[4]
Water soluble fluorescent dye used in permeability and vascular perfusion studies due to its small molecular radius.[5] Sodium fluorescein is used as a fluorescent tracer to study blood-brain barrier (BBB) and blood-spinal cord barrier (BSCB) permeability in rodent models.[6][7][8] The dye was used as a probe substrate in the study of organic anion transporting polypeptide (OATP) mediated drug transport in hepatocytes.[9] Sodium fluorescein was also used to monitor in situ solute transportation into bone through fluorescence recovery after photobleaching (FRAP).[10]
