General description

N,N-Dimethylacetamide is a highly polar solvent, which can find applications in a variety of chemical reactions. A mixture of lithium chloride in N,N-dimethylacetamide may be used for the dissolution of cellulose to form a homogeneous solution.

Application

N,N-Dimethylacetamide may be used as an analytical standard for the determination of the analyte in pharmaceuticals, biological samples, water and air samples by various chromatography techniques.
