General description

The HY-LiTE® Surface ATP Test Kit contains ready-prepared pens in cuvette test format for use with HY-LiTE® 2/ luminometers. The kit contains test pens and hygiene swabs that are primarily designed for the examination of post-production cleaning/sanitation effectiveness on product contact surfaces. Adenosine triphosphate (ATP) is detected by reaction with a luciferin/luciferase reagent in a buffered solution. The test kit is designed to indicate the presence of residues of biological origin, as well as bacteria, yeast and molds, including viable, non-culturable bacteria, anaerobes, and other microorganisms which are usually not detected by traditional growth-based methods.

Application

HY-LiTE® Surface ATP Test Kit is suitable for measuring ATP on surfaces after cleaning to monitor quality of sanitation processes.

Suitability

For surface hygiene monitoring
