General description

XLT-4 Agar Supplement contains sodiumtetradecylsulfate solution (26-28 %). It is a surfactant that inhibits thegrowth of accompanying flora and is used during the preparation of XLT-4 AgarBase to isolate and identify pathogenic Enterobacteriaceae.

Application

XLT-4 Agar Supplement is an additive used during the preparation of XLT-4 Agar Base for the isolation and identification of pathogenic Enterobacteriaceae, especially Salmonella spp.
