General description

A Certified Spiking Solution® suitable for use as starting material in calibrators or controls for a variety of LC/MS or GC/MS applications from clinical toxicology to forensic analysis and pharmaceutical research. Atropine is a pharmaceutical drug used for treatment of cardiac conditions.

For the analysis of the phytotoxins. Tropane alkaloid.

Application

  • Atropine sulfate solution: Study conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis on the effectiveness of atropine in managing sialorrhea, highlighting its use as a muscarinic antagonist reagent in clinical settings, providing critical insights for pharmacological research atropine applications (Yellepeddi et al., 2024).

  • Pharmacological research atropine: The clinical pharmacokinetics of an atropine oral gel formulation were studied in healthy volunteers, underscoring its importance in acetylcholine receptor studies and its application in developing pharmacokinetic profiles for pharmaceutical research (Parrot et al., 2024).

  • Atropine as a muscarinic antagonist in pharmacological research: The study discussed the utility of plant alkaloids, including atropine, in treating eye diseases, illustrating atropine′s role as a vital ophthalmic research chemical and its broader implications in medical research (Lorrai et al., 2024).

  • High purity atropine solution for biochemical studies: The study developed a new method for solvent suppression in pure shift NMR, enhancing the understanding of atropine′s interactions at the molecular level, which is crucial for advancing analytical standards for delta8-THC and related compounds in scientific research (Gates et al., 2024).

Acetylcholine (5.5×10(-10)-5.5×10(-6)M) accelerated erythrocyte agglutination in men, non-pregnant women in follicular phase of the menstrual cycle, and pregnant women in the first trimester. The effect was blocked with atropine (5.5×10(-6)M). Acetylcholine had no effect on the rate of erythrocyte agglutination
