Application

Benzyl alcohol USP reference standard meant for use in specified quality tests and assays.

Also used to prepare standard preparation, system suitability, standard and system suitability stock solution for assay and impurity analysis according to the given below monographs of United States Pharmacopeia (USP):
  • Midazolam Injection
  • Famotidine Injection
  • Enalaprilat Injection
  • Cisatracurium Besylate Injection
  • Physostigmine Salicylate Injection
Additionally, it is used to prepare an internal standard solution by using gas chromatography in conjunction with a flame ionization detector (GC-FID) according to the United States Pharmacopeia (USP)chapter.
