General description
- High mechanical strength methacrylate for use at high flow rates
- Stability in organic solvents
- May be pressure packed at 5-7 bar

Packaged as a suspension in 20% aqueous ethanol.
TOYOPEARL media fractionate mixtures of proteins and other large molecular weight compounds over a wide size range (specific molecular weight ranges reported below were determined with globular proteins). Use these packings for such diverse analyses as separating RNA from protein, resolving oligosaccharides by degree of polymerization, and isolating agglutinin while maintaining a high hemagglutination titer.
These products are available in different particle size grades:
- Superfine (20-40 μm): Highest efficiency and operating pressure; also used in thin layer gel filtration
- Fine (30-60 μm): Recommended for lab preparative scale operations.
- Medium (40-90 μm) and Coarse (50-100 μm): Used for large scale preparative chromatography where a high flow rate at a low pressure is essential.
