General description

EPA 524.2 Rev 4 Update Ketones Mix is a multi-component solution containing acetone, 2-butanone, 1,1-dichloro-2-propanone, 2-hexanone, and 4-methyl-2-pentanone as certified reference materials (CRMs).
US EPA 500 Series methods are analytical methods for identifying and quantifying organic contaminants such as volatile organic compounds (VOCs), pesticides, synthetic organic compounds (SOCs), and trihalomethane disinfection byproducts (THMs) in raw source water, finished drinking water, and drinking water at all stages of treatment.

Application

EPA 524.2 Rev 4 Update Ketones Mix may be used as a CRM to quantify volatile organic compound (VOC) analytes in indoor and outdoor air samples by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS).
