General description

WSFA-2 may be used for identifying and quantifying purgeable halocarbons in municipal and industrial wastewater in accordance with EPA 624 method. The pre-requisite of EPA 624 method is the use of gas chromatography with a selective detector or gas chromatography/mass spectrometry. WSFA-2 may also be utilized for the qualitative determination of free fatty acids in aqueous solutions. It is recommended that it should be purchased from chemical manufacturers with knowledge in the preparation, handling, storage, and shipment of volatile analytes.
