Application

Complement sera from rabbit has been used:
  • for the incubation of embryo prior to inner cell mass isolation
  • in the complement-dependent cytotoxicity (CDC) assay of peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs)
  • in the purification of schwann cells

Biochem/physiol Actions

Rabbit complement sera was shown to promote acrosomal loss in rabbit spermatozoa due to activation of the complement.
