General description

Immunoglobulins (Igs) are glycoprotein antibodies that modulate several immune responses. Rabbit IgGs against target proteins are often used as primary antibodies in various research applications. Thus, secondary anti-rabbit IgGs can be useful tools for the analysis of target proteins
Anti-Rabbit IgG (whole molecule), F(ab′)2 fragment-R-Phycoerythrin antibody detects all rabbit immunoglobulins.

Immunogen

Purified Rabbit IgG

Application

Anti-Rabbit IgG (whole molecule), F(ab′)2 fragment-R-Phycoerythrin antibody is suitable for use in flow cytometry and immunofluorescence.
Applications in which this antibody has been used successfully, and the associated peer-reviewed papers, are given below.

Type III secretion systems are found in many Gram-negative bacteria. They are activated by contact with eukaryotic cells and inject virulence proteins inside them. Host cell detection requires a protein complex located at the tip of the device's external injection

In this study we have examined the migration responses of human peripheral blood or tonsillar B lymphocytes to a selection of 27 chemokines. Freshly isolated (CD19(+)) B lymphocytes show greatly impaired in vitro chemotaxis which is overcome by overnight culture.

The HFE protein interacts with the transferrin receptor (TfR) to regulate cellular iron uptake. Nucleated erythroid cells have the highest number of TfR and the greatest iron uptake. The aim of this study was to investigate whether erythroid iron uptake
