General description

Phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) is a buffer solution used in biological research. It is a water-based salt solution containing sodium phosphate, sodium chloride, potassium chloride and potassium phosphate.

Application

Phosphate buffered saline, DNA and DNase free can be used to resuspend Metapolyzyme, DNA free (MAC4LDF) or other lytic enzyme preparations used before DNA extraction. It is supplied in convenient ready-made, liquid form, in 1 mL tubes suitable for UV irradiation.
