General description
T cells are lymphocytes, a subset of of white blood cells, that are important to adaptive immunity. T cells orginate in the bone marrow and mature in the thymus where they expand and differentiate into helper, regulatory, or cytotoxic T cells or become memory T cells. CD3 is found on the surface of Pan T cells and CD3+ Pan T cells can be isolated from mononuclear cells via immunomagnetic separation. CD3+ Pan T cells can be isolated from a variety of tissue sources including peripheral blood and lymphoid tissues.
Used for a variety of applications, T cells are frequently utilized in drug discovery/development, assay validation/development, cell therapy tissue engineering, mixed lymphocyte reaction assays, and other immunology applications.
