General description

Sigma′s Phi X174 DNA Marker Hae III Digest contains 11 fragments from 72 − 1,353 bp. Five ul of the ladder should be diluted in gel loading buffer and then loaded in a single lane on an agarose or polyacrylamide gel.

Components

Sigma′s Phi X174 DNA Marker Hae III Digest is provided in a solution of 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 8.0), with 1.0 mM EDTA.

Preparation Note

φX174RF-I DNA was digested with Hae III to completion, then purified by phenol extraction.

Other Notes

For optimal resolution, the recommended agarose gel concentration is 2.0%.
