Cell Line Description
This cell line was derived from peripheral blood of a patient with an IgE myeloma (epsilon2,lambda2). The line has been reported to secrete IgE and is used as fusion partner for the production of hybridomas. U266B1 has been reported to produce interleukin-6 (IL-6).
