One unit of SRM 1889b contains five vials, with each vials containing ~ 5 g of cement in a foil pouch, which is ground to pass through a sieve of 75 µm (No. 200).

Application

The SRM is a Portland cement blended with limestone, intended to evaluate the methods used to analyze the cements and similar matrix materials.
