General description
Active COX-2 is localized to the outer nuclear membrane and endoplasmic reticulum. The localization of FQ Orange probe signal in colorectal cancer cells is consistent with the nuclear periphery, as demonstrated by nuclear counterstaining with Hoechst.
FQ Orange has also demonstrated utility in vivo tumor imaging (2).
MW=1098.78 g/mol
Probe is soluble in DMSO.
For representative data, SCC736 Human Colorectal Organoids were incubated with 200 nM FQ probe in appropriate growth medium for 3 hours
SPECTRAL PROPERTIES
Excitation max λ: 586 nm
Emission max λ: 607 nm
Activated BioTracker™ FQ Orange Cox-2 Live Cell Probe is detectable using a 561 nm laser excitation and a propidium iodide/Texas Red filter.
