Gene Information

mouse ... Ripk1(19766)

General description

Receptor-interacting serine/threonine-protein kinase 1, also known as Cell death protein RIP or Receptor-interacting protein 1 (RIP-1) or Serine/threonine-protein kinase RIP, and encoded by the gene name RIPK1 or RIP or RIP1, contains 1 death domain and 1 protein kinase domain. RIPK1 is localized to the cytoplasm and plays an important role in a variety of cellular pathways including the NF-κB pathway and programmed necrotic cell death (necroptosis).

Immunogen

Epitope: Near N-terminus
RIPK1 antibody was raised against a 15 amino acid synthetic peptide from near the amino terminus of human RIPK1.

Application

Immunohistochemistry Analysis (IHC): 2.5 μg/mL from a representative lot detected RIPK1 in mouse kidney tissue.

Research Category
Apoptosis & Cancer
Research Sub Category
Apoptosis - Additional
This Anti-RIPK1 Antibody is validated for use in Western Blotting_x000D_ and Immunohistochemistry for the detection of RIPK1.

Quality

Evaluated by Western Blotting in rat kidney tissue lysate.

Western Blotting Analysis (WB): 1 μg/mL of this antibody detected RIPK1 in rat kidney tissue lysate.

Target description

~75 kDa observed. Uncharacterized bands may be observed in some lysate(s).

Physical form

Antigen Affinity Purified
Purified rabbit polyclonal in buffer containing PBS (pH 7.2) with 0.02% sodium azide.

Storage and Stability

Stable for 1 year at 2-8°C from date of receipt.

Other Notes

Concentration: Please refer to lot specific datasheet.
