Gene Information

mouse ... Hrh1(15465)
rat ... Hrh1(24448)

Specificity

Recognizes rat Histamine Receptor 1 (HR1). The immunogen shows no significant sequence homology with other histamine receptors.

The immunogen peptide is 100% conserved in mouse and bovine, 94% in human, fish and monkey and 80% in guinea pig. Reactivity with other species has not been confirmed.

Immunogen

A 17 amino acid peptide sequence near the cytoplasmic, C-terminus of rat HR1 (Fujimoto et al. 1993; Inoue et al. 1996; DeBacker et al. 1993; Fukui et al. 1994; Moguilevsky et al. 1994).
Epitope: C-terminus

Application

Research Category
Inflammation & Immunology
Research Sub Category
Inflammation & Autoimmune Mechanisms
This Anti-Histamine Receptor 1 Antibody, C-terminus is validated for use in ELISA, WB for the detection of Histamine Receptor 1.
Western blot: 1-10 μg/mL using ECL. Recognizes a 57kDa band representing the H1 receptor

ELISA: 1:10,000-1:100,000 using 50-100 ng control peptide per well.

Optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user.

Physical form

Affinity purified immunoglobulin. Liquid in PBS containing 0.1% BSA.

Storage and Stability

Maintain at -20°C in undiluted aliquots for up to 6 months after date of receipt. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
