General description

A 25:24:1 (v/v) mixture of phenol, chloroform and isoamyl alcohol, pH 6.7. Suitable for DNA and RNA applications. Absorbance: ≤0.2 at 300 nm; and ≤0.1 at 405 nm and 510 nm. Volume 400 ml. Supplied with 26 ml Tris-based equilibration buffer.
A 25:24:1 (v/v) mixture of phenol, chloroform and isoamyl alcohol, pH 6.7. Suitable for DNA and RNA applications. Prior to equilibration with the Tris-based equilibration buffer (pH ~6.7), the mix is ideal for extraction of proteins and lipids for RNA purification. Following equilibration with the Tris-based equilibration buffer (pH ~8.0), is ideal for extraction of proteins and lipids for DNA purification. Absorbance: ≤0.2 at 300 nm; and ≤0.1 at 405 nm and 510 nm. Volume 400 ml. Supplied with 26 ml Tris-based equilibration buffer.

Warning

Toxicity: Toxic (F)
