General description

Mounting fluid, low glycerol.

Application

Recommended for use with the following Rabies Reagents: Rabies DFA Reagent (Cat. #5100), Rabies DFA II Reagent (Cat. #5500), and the Rabies Polyclonal Reagent (Cat. #5199).

Physical form

Low glycerol mounting fluid in buffered saline solution with 0.2% sodium azide. Ready to use; do not dilute.

Storage and Stability

When stored at 2-8°C, reagent is stable up to the expiration date printed on the label.

WARNING / PRECAUTION:

Sodium azide, present in this reagent can form potentially explosive metal azides with lead and copper pipes. Upon disposal, flush with large volumes of water to prevent build-up in plumbing.
