General description

Water standard oil is composed using transformer oil and its water content is measured by coulometric Karl Fischer titration according to ISO 760. It is designed for applications requiring the measurement of water content in oil samples.

Application

It finds applications as a certified reference material (CRM) in checking the accuracy of coulometric Karl Fischer titrators as per ISO 9001 chapter 7.1.5 “Monitoring and measuring resources”.

Features and Benefits

  • Packed in convenient 8 mL glass ampoules with 10 single-use ampoules in a box
  • Subjected to stability and homogeneity studies following ISO 17034 and ISO Guide 35
  • Measured and qualified in an ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 17034 accredited laboratory
  • Directly traceable to SI unit (kg) and verified by SRM 2890 from NIST
