Devarda′s alloy is an alloy of aluminium (44% – 46%), copper (49% – 51%), and zinc (4% – 6%). It is used as a reducing agent for the analysis of nitrite and nitrates. Devarda′s alloy EMSURE® grade product) is optimized for regulated analyses and highly demanding lab applications. This reagent is ideal for demanding analytical procedures that need low detection limits and maximum sensitivity.
