General description
The resorcin-fuchsin staining method is a regressive method. In tissue sections, nuclei can be stained using a 0.1% nuclear fast red-aluminum sulfate solution (Product number 1.00121) if not only elastic fibers, but also nuclei and the background also need to be visualized.
Brilliant staining results of these fibres are usually achieved when using the ELASTIN staining solution acc. to Weigert - for microscopy in combination with the Picrofuchsin solution acc. van Gieson - for microscopy, Product number 1.00199 and nuclear staining with Weigert′s iron hematoxylin kit - for nuclear staining in histology, Product number 1.15973 respectively Nuclear fast red-aluminium sulfate solution 0.1% - for microscopy, Product number 1.00121.
The 500ml bottle is sufficient for 400 - 500 applications. This product is registered as IVD and CE marked. For more details, please see instructions for use (IFU). The IFU can be downloaded from this webpage.
