Application

This polymer is a amphiphilic diblock copolymer composed of a hydrophobic PLGA block and a hydrophilic poly(glutamic acid) block. PLGA is a biocompatible and biodegradable polymer that has been approved by the FDA and the EMA for biomedical and pharmaceutical applications. Poly(glutamic acid) is biodegradable, non-toxic and non-immunogenic macromolecules. This biodegradable, biocompatible polymers can self-assemble to form nanoparticles, such as micelles and polymersomes, for drug delivery applications
