synthetic phosphopeptide derived from the region of EGFR that contains tyrosine 1086.
Azioni biochim/fisiol
EGFR is a transmembrane glycoprotein that binds to the EGF family. It is a pivotal regulator of cell proliferation, growth, differentiation and DNA repair after radiation-induced damage. Mutations in the gene encoding EGFR are associated with a number of malignancies including lung cancer and colorectal cancer. Tyr1086 is a minor autophosphorylation site and enables the internalization of the receptor.

Solution in Dulbecco′s phosphate buffered saline without Mg2+ and Ca2+, pH 7.3 with 50% glycerol, 1 mg/mL BSA (protease and IgG free) and 0.05% sodium azide.

The question whether epidermal growth factor (EGF)-induced receptor endocytosis requires the prior autophosphorylation via the EGF receptor (EGFR) kinase domain has been a matter of long-standing debate. In the airway epithelial cell line NCI-H292, the EGFR kinase domain inhibitor BIBW

Epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) overexpression is associated with resistance to chemotherapy and radiotherapy. The EGFR modulates DNA repair after radiation-induced damage through an association with the catalytic subunit of DNA protein kinase. DNA double-strand breaks (DSBs) are the most

Epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) exemplifies the family of receptor tyrosine kinases that mediate numerous cellular processes, including growth, proliferation, and differentiation. Moreover, gene amplification and EGFR mutations have been identified in a number of human malignancies, making this receptor

Several studies have elucidated the significance of a disintegrin and metalloproteinase proteins (ADAMs) in PNS myelination, but there is no evidence if they also play a role in oligodendrogenesis and CNS myelination. Our study identifies ADAM17, also called tumor necrosis

Increased expressions of fatty acid synthase (FASN) and epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) are common in cancer cells. De novo synthesis of palmitate by FASN is critical for the survival of cancer cells via mechanisms independent of its role as
