General description

Hi-Flow Plus membranes are designed and optimised for use in rapid diagnostic lateral flow tests that require superior consistency and performance. Lateral flow tests faciliate quick and convenient detection / quantification of analytes such as antibodies and antigens present in biological samples, including blood, saliva, and urine. Hi-Flow™ Plus membranes are ideally suited for such applications. Available in a variety of capillary flow times and backing options, choosing Hi-Flow™ Plus membranes can improve assay performance and offer flexibility to meet a wide range of assay design requirements. Hi-Flow™ Plus 75 (HF075) is suitable for tests where speed is critical, the sample is plentiful, and sensitivity is not a concern. This Hi-Flow™ Plus 75 pack contains one 25mm x 100m slit roll of 2 mil backed nitrocellulose membrane with a nominal capillary flow time of 75 seconds/4 cm.

Application

  • Hi-Flow Plus membrane is a critical raw material suitable for use in a broad range of Lateral Flow test applications, including Infectious Disease testing (COVID-19, HIV, Influenza, Malaria, STDs etc.), as well as in women’s health, biomarker detection, drugs of abuse testing, drug development, environmental testing, agricultural applications, food safety, product quality testing and animal health.
  • Hi-Flow Plus membranes are suitable for use with all lateral flow test techniques including competitive, sandwich, and multiplex detection assays.
  • They are optimised for use in both qualitative and quantitative test types and pair well with lateral flow detector particles including colloidal gold nanoparticles, dyed/ fluorescent microspheres etc.
  • Hi-Flow Plus membranes are suitable for use in lateral flow tests designed to detect analytes present in a broad range of samples matrices including, blood, saliva, urine, nasopharyngeal swabs, sweat and others.
