General description

GranuCult® prime Enterobacteriaceae Enrichment Broth - Mossel is designed for selective enrichment of bile-tolerant, Gram-negative bacteria from non-sterile pharmaceutical products. D (+) Glucose enhances the growth of all Lactose-positive and -negative Enterobacteriaceae. The undesired, accompanying bacterial flora is completely inhibited by brilliant green and ox bile. The strong buffering capacity of the culture medium prevents the formed acid from killing the culture.

Application

GranuCult® prime Enterobacteriaceae Enrichment Broth - Mossel is suitable for sterility testing of substances, preparations, and products as well as a pre-enrichment broth for the test for specified microorganisms or total viable aerobic count determinations using the MPN method within non-sterile pharmaceutical products.

Features and Benefits

  • GranuCult® offers superior granulated culture media
  • Safe and sustainable due to reduced risks associated with fine dust and toxic substance inhalation, resulting in a safer work environment
  • Excellent wettability, solubility, and free-flowing properties
  • Convenient, with minimal component separation and clumping, even under warm or humid conditions
  • High batch-to-batch reproducibility
  • Prolonged shelf life of up to five years
  • High number of test strains exceeding all regulatory demands
  • Granulation technology allows many supplements to be included, with no need to add these separately
