Application

Ethylammonium iodide (EAI) is an organic ammonium salt that can be used as an additive in the fabrication of perovskite-based photovoltaic devices. It is also used in the synthesis of nanocrystalline sensitizers for the development of light-absorbing materials.
The iodide and bromide based alkylated halides find applications as precursors for fabrication of perovskites for photovoltaic applications.
