General description
PRP-1 is a co-polymer of poly (styrene-divinylbenzene). Its surface is chemically neither homogenous nor stable during use. Hamilton PRP-1 HPLC Column, is used for large scale purification of oligonucleotides, generally used in NMR studies.
The Hamilton PRP-1, polymeric reversed phase columns are Ideal for high pH (pH 8-13) operation or with analytes that give poor chromatogrpahy on silica-based columns.
Application
Hamilton PRP-1 HPLC Column was used in experimental studies employing liquid chromatography (LC); with reversed phase separation (RPLC) using only pressurized hot water (PHW) as a mobile phase. It also is suitable for being used in large-scale purification of synthetic oligonucleotides, with a phosphate/methanol/acetonitrile solvent system.
