General description

The HandyStep® electronic is a microprocessor controlled battery operated repetitive pipette for fatigue-free dispensings in a variety of applications. Motorized design reduces hand strain and eliminates operator inconsistency.

  • Will accept most dispenser tips on the market
  • Continuously variable volume setting from 1 μL to 50 mL

The HandyStep electronic saves time and prevents error through automatic tip size recognition of the PD-Tips, which have the size encoded in their pistons. After inserting the tip, the size is automatically recognized and displayed, making it easy to select the volume to be dispensed.

The HandyStep electronic provides three different functions: Dispensing, Automatic Dispensing, and Pipetting. In the automatic mode the instrument uses its learn function to calculate the average time interval between your first three dispensing steps, and automatically continues to work at this rhythm. The instrument offers three different, independently adjustable aspirating and dispensing speeds for optimal accuracy with different liquids.

The replaceable nickel metal hydride battery pack can be charged either in the instrument or independently. Every instrument is serial numbered and shipped with individual test certificate.

Includes sample pack of new encoded PD-Tips and manual.
