General description

Cellular tumor antigen p53 is a tumor-suppressor protein that comprises transactivation at N-terminus, central sequence-specific DNA-binding domain, and regulatory domain at C-terminus. It plays a key role in autophagy regulation. It inhibits tumors and acts as a cellular stress sensor especially during nutrient deprivation, hypoxia, and ribosome dysfunction. The Human p-53 ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of human p-53 in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants and urine.

Immunogen

Recombinant Human p53

Application

For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
Please refer to the attached General ELISA KIT Procedure (sandwich, competitive & Indirect ELISA)
Human p53 ELISA Kit has been used for quantifying p53 using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) in human myeloma RPMI-8226 cells, human colorectal cancer HCT-116 cells, human breast cancer MCF-7 cells and human leukemiaHL-60 cells.
