General description

Whatman IFD from Cytiva is a high-flow in-line filter/degasser (IFD) of chemically resistant polypropylene housing and membrane (polypropylene for solvent, nylon for aqueous). It connects to an HPLC line to simultaneously filter and degasses during mobile phase preparation.
  • Faster than traditional mobile phase preparation
  • Chemically resistant polypropylene housing enables reliable filtration
  • For solvents: chemically resistant polypropylene membrane and housing, built to filter solvent mobile phases without expensive stand-alone degassing equipment
  • For aqueous: nylon membrane provides pure filtration of aqueous mobile phases without expensive degassing equipment
  • Air vent on the inlet with luer lock cap
  • Integrity-testable with the bubble point method
  • Includes compression end fittings – for replacements, see our IFD end fitting kit
