General description

Battery grade: H2O <15 ppm, HF <50 ppm, and APHA <50 ppm.
Lithium hexafluorophosphate solution in ethylene carbonate and dimethyl carbonate is a class of electrolytic solution that can be used in the fabrication of lithium-ion batteries. Lithium-ion batteries consist of anode, cathode, and electrolyte with a charge-discharge cycle. These materials enable the formation of greener and sustainable batteries for electrical energy storage.
We are committed to bringing you Greener Alternative Products, which adhere to one or more of The 12 Principles of Greener Chemistry. This product has been enhanced for energy efficiency. Click here for more details.

Application

The solutions of LiPF6 in alkyl carbonates find applications as electrolytes in lithium ion batteries and the use of high quality battery grade electrolytes having extremely low water (<15 ppm) and hydrogen fluoride (<50 ppm) contents are critical for achieving high electrochemical performance.

Preparation Note

  • Do not use any glass equipment.
  • Please handle under inert and moisture free environment.
