Potassium chloride USP reference standard, intended for use in specified quality tests and assays as specified in the USP compendia. Also, for use with USP monographs such as:
- Potassium Chloride Extended-Release Capsules
- Potassium Chloride Extended-Release Capsules
- Potassium Bicarbonate and Potassium Chloride Effervescent Tablets for Oral Solution
May be used for the preparation of phosphate buffered saline, and for the extraction and solubilization of proteins.
